Relatively new hotel and casino still nice, BUT.online and Bristo Cafe need verification! My wife likes it here and we have driven the three plus hours several times to stay for three days and two nights as our usual bus trips only have day or one night trips to this destination. When I left in the morning there was an employee at the casino (I wish I would have gotten his name) that was genuinely happy to do his job, opened the door for me, wished me good luck and to have a pleasant day. I would think you would want your best employees to make a first impression than ones that resent working.
Sad thing is that HoChunk Casino in Baraboo (same tribe as Majestic Pines) has worse front desk, bell hop and valet parking employees than Majestic Pines. I suppose you were mad that your co-worker didn't get up from what she was doing (reading) to take care of me. To the Desk Clerk - I am so sorry I took you away from what you were doing (reading), made you stand up and actually forced you to say a few words. I like a little variety and stopped at Majestic Pines Casino and then over to the (attached) hotel. I could just as easily loose my money in Minnesota. I am always amazed at the lack of customer service in highly competitive fields.
